Applications : Sodium Chloroacetate known as Sodium Monochloro Acetate (SMCA). Main uses include production of MCA esters, carboxymethyl cellulose, carboxymethyl starch, thioglycolic acid, cyanoacetic acid (incl. esters), barbiturates, malonic acid (incl. esters and derivates), vitamins, sequestering agents (EDTA), glycine, dyes (indigo and derivates), surfactants.
